Traveling is feeling, tasting, smelling, hearing and seeing
Travel takes you out of every day’s repetitions. A small walk every day and you see different things than the day before. That is traveling in miniature. Traveling is feeling, tasting, smelling, hearing and seeing the unknown.
Traveling does that with you any time of the day when you are traveling. It is about letting go of your patterns. For example, if a bus is late or you decide to spontaneously enter a bookstore on the way to a museum. It is precisely those unplanned moments that bring you new things, such as a conversation with a stranger in the bookstore that you stopped.
What it brings you is life experience and learning to let go and let it happen. Enjoy the moment.
I would like to integrate all this into my home life, but I keep falling back into old patterns after a while, after a trip. Which means I always need a new journey 🙂.
Go on a journey and get acquainted with letting go, those unplanned visits and conversation with complete stranger. Enjoyment is the magic word when I travel.
